Felicia Bergmeier

While growing up in St. Louis, Felicia Bergmeier was brought up in a very musical family. She also has had the privilege of studying violin under St. Louis Symphony members David Halen, Alisa Barston, Becky Boyer-Hall and Wanda Becker (who has also been her lifelong teacher and mentor, and most notably is her mom!).

While attending school in Nebraska, she studied under David Neely and had the honor of being the concertmaster of the University of Nebraska’s Symphony Orchestra. She was also a member of the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra and played regularly with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra.

After returning with her husband to Missouri, she began teaching privately in 2006. She is excited for the opportunity to continue teaching at The Mineral Area Fine Arts Academy where she will take students as young as four years of age. Besides music, Felicia loves reading, cooking, taking walks and playing nightly board games with her husband Eli and their two sons.
