Samantha Crites

Samantha Crites is from Smithville, Missouri. She attended Smithville High School, where her love for theater began. She performed the lead role of Toffee in Zombie Prom and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown. After graduating from Smithville High School, Samantha attended the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in Vocal Music Education. During her time at Mizzou, Samantha performed with the Show Me Opera company, University Singers, Choral Union, and Hitt Street Harmony. After graduating in Spring 2020, Samantha went on to teach K-5 music in Columbia, Missouri and continued to perform in community theater.  She performed as Cinderella for the STL Renaissance Faire in 2022 and the Evil Stepmother in R&H  Cinderella in 2023. In 2024, Samantha moved to Farmington, Missouri where she now teaches intermediate music. She also performed the role of Maria in MAFAA’s 2025 spring production of The Sound of Music. She is excited to continue her time with MAFAA teaching the Bravo Kids Choir and Private Lessons.
