Zabien Gusman

Zabien Gusman graduated from Farmington High School in 2021 and has been an active member of MAFAA's theater department ever since. His stage credits include Pinocchio in Shrek: The Musical (2021), Tommy Djilas in The Music Man (2021), Ensemble in A Midsummer Night's Dream (2022), Wickersham 1 in Seussical: The Musical (2022), General Waverly in White Christmas (2022), Ensemble in Mary Poppins (2023), Warren Sheffield in Meet Me in St. Louis (2023), Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (2024), Mr. Webb in Our Town (2024), Dentist/Ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors (2024), Herr Zeller in The Sound of Music (2025), George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life (2025), Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2026), and Romeo in Newsies (2026).

Zabien loves the MAFAA theater department because it has become a second home, introducing him to people who started as strangers but have become as close as family. The friendships and sense of community he has found through theater have made his experience truly unforgettable.

When he's not on stage, Zabien enjoys watching films and television and has a deep appreciation for the creativity that happens both in front of and behind the camera. His dream is to one day create his own films and television shows, combining his love of storytelling with his passion for the performing arts.
